September Love List

September is here, but outside it feels like it's still mid July. We're in the 90's here Chi Town today. I'm glad I'm indoors in AC all day, or else my toes would look like sausages and my ankles would disappear.

Before I get into this month's Love List. I have to share this collage I made as joke for the hubs.

Please note I made this in Photoshop in about 5 minutes.

Let me explain - Timmy and I have these on going Toby Keith jokes whenever we listen to country music. I equate them to Chuck Norris jokes. We say things like "Toby Keith loves America so much he sleeps wrapped in the American Flag." or "Toby Keith's doorbell is the National Anthem" or "Even Toby Keith's pet Bald Eagle has and American Flag tattoo" and we go on and on with one liners like that. I don't know, maybe you don't find that as funny as we do...anyway on to my September Love List.

This Month I'm Loving...

• Love Bean's birth month (well as long as she isn't more than 6 days overdue).
• Little Brother's birthday (one day after love bean's due date) He's going to be 19!
• Fall - since moving to the city it's pretty much became my favorite season.
• My new boots - ok so they haven't arrived yet, but when they do I know I'm going to love them
• Maternity leave is approaching
• Season 3 of 'Modern Family' starts the 21st. Seriously if you don't watch this show you need to.
• Another hilarious TV show starts back up - 'Happy Endings' - it's sort of, kind of like 'Friends'

August Love List

Can you believe August is here already?! Seriously, it seems like just yesterday it was July 1st.

I'll tell you one thing I'm NOT loving this month is the awful HEAT! But the things I'm loving this month are:

• Littlest sissy gets married next weekend!! I designed the invites, programs, table cards etc. I'll share them after the big event :)
• My AIGA mentor group - I'm looking forward to getting to know some new peeps and hopefully making some lasting friendships
• This Leaping Rabbits Mobile
• Hubs is turning 24 on the 11th
• Hello Rainy show at the Hard Rock
• One month closer to meeting our little love bean
• 2 baby showers this month!

July Love List

I can't believe it's July already! This summer is flying. I think it's because we've been so busy so far this summer and July is no different. Things I'm loving and looking forward to this month...

• Littlest sister's bridal shower
• Planning her bachelorette party (my other sis and I have a super cool idea!!)
• My first baby shower!! 
• Getting settled into our new place
• Dia Frampton's cover of Kanye's Heartless
• FINALLY getting my haircut (I haven't had it cut since like last August)
• Starting to set-up love bean's nursery
• Celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary
• Fireworks on the 4th
• The epic conclusion of the Harry Potter movies

July is going to be good month! I'm pretty stoked.

June Love List

This morning at 5am when I was laying bed wide awake, I realized that I never posted a June Love List! And I have a super special reason to be excited about June!

• Littlest sister is about to have niece #3 any minute now...seriously, I'm hoping to get a phone call today and be driving up to the Mitten when Timmy gets home from work! We're all dying to meet lil miss Ruthie Josefina.
• We're moving (well hopefully haha)
• We registered for our little love bean! Still have a few big items to add, but we want to go to the store and do those in person, so far we've only picked stuff out online
• It's finally warm...well most days, Chicago has been having some pretty crappy weather here and there
• I'm officially 26 weeks (6.5 months) along. It sure is flying!
• Ribest was so YUMMY! I have the greatest pic of Timmy eating ribs with a bib on, but my camera cord is already packed, so you'll have to wait to see it

May Love List

It's finally May, the weather here in Chicago seems to be finally warming up for good. I was beginning to think that it was going to stay Winter forever.

Can't wait until the city looks like this. It's so pretty in the Spring

Things I'm Loving This Month

• Tim felt our love bean move for the first time. The smile on his face was priceless!
• Loads of family time, though I'm not really looking forward to all the driving. We'll see both sides of the family month.
• My cutie pie niece Raelin turns 1
• Little brother is graduating from high school
• Spring weather
• The Voice - best singing competition show ever. 

April Love List

Happy Friday, April Fool's Day and Cub's home opener! No, I'm not really that big of Cub's fan, but hey it works. It's a new month and hopefully it brings some warmer weather. I don't know about you, but I am sick and tired of wearing my my bulky winter coat.

APRIL LOVE LIST

• Spring is here (I say this hesitantly - see above)
• I'm officially in my second trimester. Yay for no more nausea and more energy!
• We get to see Tim's family. We haven't seen them since Christmas :(
• Resurrection Day a.k.a Easter. It's one of my favorite holidays. Remember, Jesus is the reason for this season too.
• Speaking of Easter, awhile ago Tim and I raided the dollar bin at Target for some Easter-ish stuff to send to our nieces for Easter, and I'll finally get to it mail to them!
• We might be going to see an old teacher of mine play a show at Uncommon Ground in Wrigleyville
• We should be launching the Dwellevate website early this month (this has been a LONG time coming, and I'll be glad when it's launched)

March Love List

Happy March 1st! It's time for my monthly love list.

• My adorable niece Andi Jo turns 3 this month. I can't believe how fast she's growing up.
• Her birthday means I'll have a good excuse to drag Timmy to Michigan
• St. Patricks Day, college gave me a new found love for this day ;)
• The dying of the Chicago River, it's disgustingly cool
• Spring is almost here and man am I ready for it
• The new Anthropologie catalog, it's lovely
• We're on our way to financial peace (Tim and I started living on a budget today—more on this later this week)
• I'm really loving the women's Bible study I've been going to
• I don't know what I did before the internet

January Love List

 January, the best month of the year! The start of a new year and it's my birthday month!

• I'm turning 24 on the 8th (this officially gives me 1 year to complete my 25 before Twenty-Five List)
• Going to see Wicked with my two favorite Tim's and my momma
• My TV shows are back
• Getting to write 2011 instead of 2010
• Our new office space 
• Saving money

I know that last one is a little odd...but I need to try to excited about our goal not to spend frivolously this month. That means, no things like eating out and shopping. Thank the Lord I got a Starbucks gift card for Christmas! I think we can do it, but I'll be the one that struggles most. I may or may not have a shopping addiction. Living on Michigan Ave. will do that to you.

December Love List

And so another month begins...I didn't do very much blogging last month, my November Love List is still on the homepage of my blog. **I must be better this month** So what am I loving this month?

I think it would be lovely if my Christmas tree looked like this

•  Oodles of family time - this year we're packing 5 Christmases into 3 days! 
• Decorating for Christmas, we don't have that many decorations to put up, but I'm really looking forward to it this year. 
• Snow, if it's going to be cold, you might as well have snow and lot's of it
• Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas" (listen to it here)
• Wrapping gifts - I'm taking special care with each one this year. 
• Criminal Minds, I stinking love this show. I've been watching it like crazy lately.

November Love List

We're 9 days into November already, and I haven't shared my November Love List. I've been trying to come up with something new for these monthly posts. I started out just posting one liners of things coming up that month. But from now on, there are no rules. Love Lists will be a combination of events/milestones/material objects/blogs etc. that I'm currently loving.

• I already know what I'm getting my nieces for Christmas! I'm that lame auntie who buys books instead of toys. For niece #1 Scribbles: A Really Giant Drawing and Coloring Book and niece #2 is going to get Alphabeasties and Other Amazing Types. 
• I really really really want the Clara Chair from Crate & Barrel - hubby says it's too much moola
• Thanksgiving really isn't that big of deal to me, but I am looking forward to Christmas this year. Which is a little strange for me, as I'm not usually a Christmas person
• I'm loving this extended warmer weather. I didn't even wear a coat today!
• After 2 months I'm finally going to get to see my little cuties
